Took this earlier this week at preK. I managed to catch him in a quiet second, and before he began to hide from the camera. The color's a little off, but I still like it.

This is 'childhood' from knitty.com. It's for my baby, due early to mid August. I'm thinking of making another one for Brendan, so they can have matching outfits.

Storm comes through

Overnight until this afternoon, a storm came through all of northern California, bringing with it mucho rain, snow in the Sierra's, and gusty winds. Gusts were up to 60 mph. Brendan's daycare center was closed, as well as many other businesses due to power outages from fallen trees. The second video is of some of the gusts, unfortunately, after the stronger ones had already come through. Still impressive, though.

Snow for Christmas

Brendan had lots of fun shoveling and playing in the snow in Wichita. These were taken a week ago when Wichita got about 6 inches.

Back home from the holidays

The holidays were nice for the family, and my son certainly made out very well! We're all back home now with no plans to leave again any time soon. I'm mired in morning sickness, which these days, doesn't let up much, if at all, each day. Ick. Tomorow will be the start of week 8. The baby is about the size of a small bean, I've read. And, looks more like an alien than anything. :) No promises on when photos from the holidays will be posted.
